The Festival of flowers in Bad Ems

After one year, the majorettes of Dancing Studio under command of Eva Olejnikova from Nové Město na Moravě left again for spa town of Bad Ems in Germany. There was hold the Festival of Flowers since 24.8. to 29.8.2001, which has nearly 40-year tradition.

This spa town is located near to Koblenz, the festival is prepared annualy with high care and it is very attractive for visitors. Two groups of senior girls were seleced for presentability of Nové Město na Moravě for evening performance together with many other majorettes and bands from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Several Thousands of attendants watched the evening performance and several hundred thousands of attendants watched the parade through the town. The floats being ornamented with natural flowers imported from the Netherlands are the dominance of this tradition. The whole town is clothed in natural flowers. It is impresseve view for visitors.

Our majorettes had again a possibility to see this beauty but above all to take part in it in active way with the German band from Dorf.
